Dishwasher safe but I always hand wash.

The original knob of the casserole can stand an oven temperature of up to 375⁰F.  I bought the stainless steal knob which is safe at an oven temperature of up to 500⁰F for about $20.

The pot has a great heat retention and distribution and is really great for stew and roast. I chose this model because I could fit a whole chicken in the pot !
